ALİ KONYALI

Born in Istanbul in 1960. He studied Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University, graphic department. At the same time he started his carrier as professional photographer. In 1985, he prepared an ehibition on Anatolian Civilizations based on a multi-visual program integrating audio, video, writings and several publications. In 1993 he settled in US where, while pursuing his work as photographer, he contributed to the promotion of Turkey through several exhibitions. He came back in 1999 where he realized several photographic documentary projects. His activity now focuses on documentary and artistic photography, while still continuing his work on edition and exhibition.
