Labraunda
At the main road there is to the right of the entrance gate a 5-meter-high and 100-meter-long retaining wall, built in the 4th century BC. On the terrace behind this wall the participants in the sacred processions from Mylasa could gather before they entered the sanctuary through the South Propylon (no. 1), which is to be found at the far end of the terrace.
